Illegally Speaking

This entry concerns the issue of illegal immigrants sneaking into the United States. I believe that if a person wants to come and live and work here, they should go through the proper channels to become a legal citizen. Yes, I understand that the conditions in other lands are sometimes oppressive but that is no reason to be dishonest about getting entry into this country. We are a land of great opportunity and jobs need to go to the citizens first then when an immigrant becomes a citizen, he or she can then take their place in the society of working people.
